Mushindo Dojo teachers keep very careful records of all who train or qualify with them and those who claimed to have, and our Instructors Association publishes an annual account of these which are sent out world wide along with details of fake or pretend teachers. A few months ago one member told us that a person he knew who had been the subject of such a report had been submitting very inaccurate accounts of his practice with us to various martial art bulletin boards in an attempt to discredit us and make himself seem significant.
Students told us that In such accounts this person omits to mention how he broke his training and religious vows, rejected his own dojo and students and ran away with his workplace secretary with whom he had ben having a secret love affair for months. After this rather sordid sexual escapade he subsequently deserted his wife and child. This person had asked and been advised long beforehand not to get married to the unfortunate (and talented) women who became his wife but he paid no attention. He had even asked one of our teachers to be his best man at his wedding but the teacher concerned did not wish to sanction what he knew was a mismatch. This mans wife is still a member of our group.Later it was revealed by some members that they had discovered this person's work was directly linked to the arms trade (in Buddhism one of the forbidden ways of working). Such a background explains something of why he has this compulsive need to exonerate his inner guilt and justify himself to others by rewriting his own training 'history' within our group. Perhaps he even believes it himself. It certainly shows that this ex student cannot be trusted to keep any promise he makes, be it to a god or a person. His employer or 'partner(s)' should be very worried about affording him any position of trust
